A technical collaboration between the Research Group on Development of Intelligent Environments at Middlesex University London and GLL, a non-profit charitable Social Enterprise organization which runs over 250 sport and leisure facilities and libraries in the UK. The aim of the collaboration is to explore whether technology can help encouraging citizens to increase their involvement in healthy physical activities. These activities can go beyond sports and gym exercise. More specifically we will explore in depth during a three years partnership the potential of gamification strategies. This project will generate new knowledge and develop new technological solutions.
